e-Watch service may stop with .NET IO error The e-Watch version 4 service may stop with a .NET IO error. This may occur in SiteWatch versions 4.0.4,. 4.0.5, 4.0.6 and 4.0.7 after installing new cameras with internal Hitachi block cameras. An error event is written to the Application Log that can be viewed with Event Viewer. The event source is ".NET Runtime 2.0 Error" and the description references "ewatchservice.exe" and "system.io.ioexception", as shown below.
To correct this problem, upgrade to SiteWatch version 4.0.7, then install the SiteWatch 4.0.7 Service Patch. Click here to download the patch.
