Axis 209MFD does not archive images

e-Watch Corporation has determined that this is a problem with the default configuration of Axis model 209MFD cameras.

Follow these steps to correct the problem:

1. Using Internet Explorer, open the URL http://<camera IP address> where <camera IP address> is the IP address of the Axis 209MFD.
2. On the Live View page. click the Setup link in the upper right corner. Enter an admin username and password if required.
3. On the Basic Configuration page, verify that the firmware version is 4.45 or later. If not, update the camera firmware using the instructions and firmware file available on the Axis website. e-Watch Corporation assumes no responsibility for problems encountered when updating Axis firmware.
4. In the navigation pane on the left side of the page, click System Options, then Advanced, then Plain Config.
5. Choose Image in the drop-down box, then click the Select Group button.
6. In the Image section, place a checkmark in the box labeled Trigger data enabled.
7. In the Image I0 TriggerData section, remove the checkmark from the box labeled Tampering enabled.
8. Click the Save button.
9. Click the Setup link at the top of the page.
10. In the navigation pane on the left side of the page, click System Options, then Maintenance.
11. Click the Restart button to restart the camera.
12. After the camera restarts, connect to the camera using either the e-Watch Camera Configuration Utiilty or the ViewWatch Camera Definition screen.
13. Click the Set Up Motion Detection button.
