SiteWatch 3.0 Service Pack 1 upgrade issue


SiteWatch Version 3.0 Service Pack 1 includes improvements to the protocol used by e-Watch cameras to communicate with the e-Watch Service. For this reason, attempts to upgrade camera firmware after upgrading SiteWatch to Version 3.0 Service Pack 1 may fail.

To avoid this problem, either:

  1. Upgrade the firmware in all cameras to version 3.0.1.4 before upgrading SiteWatch to Version 3.0 Service Pack 1,

    2. or

  2. Stop the e Watch Service after upgrading SiteWatch to Version 3.0 Service Pack 1, and use the e-Watch Firmware App to upgrade the firmware in all cameras to version 3.0.1.4.
